A Dream Destination : Manali

Manali, A Dream Destination for everyone who love nature, snow, adventure, skiing. Manali is also the first choice for HoneyMoon for a newly wed couple if they are planning for a tour somewhere in India.


The Hill station of Manali is situated at a soaring height of 6,398 feet above sea level. It is considered one of the important hill stations in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Manali is basically an administrative part of the Kullu district. This place is really famous for all its temples and many historic places besides the various snow points. The surroundings are covered with huge trees and nearly all the hotels are situated in the banks of River Beas. It is the best place for a holiday right in the lap of natural surroundings.

Manali is very famous for its adventurous sports. The most favorite sport is “Skiing.” Solang Nullah and Rohtang Pass are the two major ski points where one can enjoy skiing. Solang Nullah is basically a training institute.

The other sport is kayaking which is possible only in the Beas River. Trekking, Mountain Biking, River rafting are among other famous sports here.

The most famous places around Manali are:

  • Rohtang Pass.
  • Rahala waterfalls.
  • Monasteries.
  • Rani Nal.
  • Vashis.
  • Old Manal.
  • Manikara.

Manali is well connected by road to Delhi through NH-21 leading up to Manali in Himachal.
